We're Getting Married!

Once upon a time, in the dazzling summer of 2019, amidst the pristine beaches and vibrant nightlife of Mykonos, a love story began to take shape. He was looking forward to meeting Cami, so he reached out to her anyways, wondering if it was still worth it for him to come to Mykonos, despite the change in plans. To his surprise, Cami replied with a resounding "Yes! Of course!" She believed in the age-old adage, "the more, the merrier." Little did they know that this simple decision would set the stage for their extraordinary love story. On August 29, 2019, Calvin flew into Mykonos from Barcelona. Cami and her friends were already there, savoring the sun, sea, and the enchanting island vibes. It was around 4am (Calvin took a late flight out from Barcelona) and Cami made sure to stay up to greet him and direct him to their villa. They felt an immediate bond over how much they loved to travel. Cami and Calvin were notoriously known for their travels amongst their friends and family. They both shared stories how in 2017, they both got their first bite of wanderlust in the same exact country - Thailand. Cami's love for travel started when she found herself doing a solo backpack trip around Southeast Asia and Calvin's started when he decided to move his office from Arizona to Bangkok. Their shared love for Thailand was already a strong bond, but little did they know then that the enchanting land would become the backdrop to their engagement, deepening their affection for it in the most magical way. It was only when they arrived at the ticket counter, overhearing Calvin mention "Phuket" to the clerk, that Cami's expectations took an unexpected turn. "Phuket? I thought we were going to Chiang Mai," she exclaimed, looking at Calvin for clarification. With a mischievous grin, he replied, "No, Phuket." As they touched down in Phuket, they were greeted by the hotel's car service, and Cami couldn't quite place the name of the hotel. It was an intentional mystery on Calvin's part, ensuring that Cami remained pleasantly clueless until the very end. Upon their arrival at the hotel, the couple was greeted by the warmest and most hospitable staff, who placed a traditional Thai garland bracelet around Cami's wrist and a beautifully woven garland necklace around Calvin's neck.
